  13. I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!  YAY!!!!
  14. First, I want to thank everyone who send me ideas on solving this! 
  15. I checked everything everyone sent me, and all the poking in the system
  16. led me to the system.ini file--which was loading an old serial.386 file..
  17. God knows why a psychological assesment program would need to load serial.386,
  18. but that was the problem.  *shrug*

  44. : This may not help you much, but here's what happens to me.  I have a
  45. : Motorola Power External 28.8 and everytime I boot into Win95, my TR
  46. : (Terminal Ready) light comes on.  When this happens, all of my comm
  47. : programs say that the modem is used by some other program or some such
  48. : nonsense.  I've gone thru the same things that you've talked about as
  49. : far as removing the drivers and reinstalling.
